James Donovan and MIT 150th Anniversary

This year MIT is celebrating its 150th anniversary with a variety of interesting cultural events and activities. One such event is taking place at the institute’s new Medical Lab Complex to “celebrate the Institute’s unique tradition and future plans at the convergence of music, science and engineering.” The event comprises performances, demos and discussions surrounding MIT’s “future music” work, spanning a whole array of different exciting methods including musical mind and emotion.

This is just one of the many events that have taken place at MIT since the beginning of the year and will span 150 days (symbolizing the institute’s 150th anniversary). Different themes will be covered during this time period, the current one being: human diversity and social order forum series, which will run through March 17th.

James Donovan has a strong connection to MIT having earned his BS degree in Chemical Engineering and MBA from MIT Sloan School. Today he serves on the institute’s Corporation Development Committee.
