The Senator James H. Donovan Memorial Scholarship

The Senator James H. Donovan Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of the New York State Senator. Residents of Oneida, Herkimer and Lewis Counties can benefit from this scholarship, as Mr. Donovan represented these counties from 1966 until his death in 1990.

The scholarship requires a GPA of 3.0, and must be submitted by April 1st of each year. It is awarded to high school graduates or matriculated students based on academic potential, involvement in the community and financial self-help. The scholarship is for students who are to study at Mohawk Community College.
