Upstate New York Honors the Memory of Senator James Donovan

James H. Donovan served as a Senator for the Oneida county of a New York State for 24 years.  Since his death in 1990, a range of facilities in upstate New York have been named to honor the statesman who did so much for this region. The James H. Donovan Science & Technology Building stands proudly on the campus of the SUNY Institute of Technology at Utica. The James H. Donovan Education Resource Center is now part of the Utica College Institute of Gerontology, while the James H. Donovan Community Center Building stands proudly in the town of New Hartford.

The Donovan Stadium at Murnane Field and the Donovan Memorial Park in New Hartford also pay tribute to the impressive legacy of Senator James Donovan.
